I Remember You by Scarlett Metal ~Katie's Review~

Lance never got over his teenage love despite years of trying to forget her with alcohol, music, and other women.

Samantha dated lots of different guys after Lance, guys most girls would love to have even a chance with. No one can make her happy though; she compares them all to Lance.

Fate brings them together when Lance is in town for some family business. They end up spending a passionate night together but can they be more? Can they finally find their happily ever after?

I will start off by saving I am not a huge novella fan because I feel they lack detail. Well that is certainly not the case with I Remember You. For being it short story it really packed a punch. Lance is just completely loveable. Samantha is sweet and loving. There are not many stories where the female heroine does not annoy me at some point but Samantha I loved her she was great. I love stories like these.

Lance and Samantha were off and on for several years. They were doing great until a dreadful ex appears with shocking news. This terrible news tore them apart and after 10 years away from each other and growing up can they get back what they had or have they grown in two totally different directions? Can they love and passion they had as teenagers be enough in their adult life or is it gone for good?

There is only one way to find out! Hop on over to amazon and pick up this amazing
Novella. Yes it is a short story but it is a beautiful story and a make you feel good story!

I give this a heart warming 4.5 stars!

Thank you Scarlett for the opportunity to read this story it was amazing and I loved it.

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

Oh my god, she was here! This had not been part of her plan at all when she bought that ticket, but she had to admit she was thrilled. Samantha watched Lance walk to the front desk of the hotel. God his ass looked amazing in those leather pants.

She thought back to earlier, watching him during his show, especially during their song. She’d always. Her nipples tightened with excitement as she imagined those fingers moving over her body like they did over his guitar.

She couldn’t help but laugh when Lance started walking back to her, holding up his room key and a naughty smile. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him. His embrace felt amazing now as it did back when they were kids.

“Let’s go upstairs,” he murmured into her hair.

She buried her face into his chest for a minute. She nodded against him, not trusting herself to speak and pulled from his embrace. She took his hand without a word and led him to the elevator.

She was going to let this happen tonight, but would this be it? Were they still too different? Could they even make a relationship work? Her eyes stung as she fought back tears. She wanted to be with him tonight, to feel his lips on hers and his hands on her body. In a couple of days he would go back on the road and she worried they’d go their separate ways again. He was a rock star anyway; there was no way he would want to be with someone as plain and simple as her. Right?

She pressed the button to the elevator and gave him a shy smile. As much as she wanted him, she was so nervous. She opened her mouth to say something when the ding of the elevator stopped her.

“About damn time,” he muttered, pulling her into the elevator. When the doors closed behind them, he pressed his hips into her, pinning her between him and the elevator wall, his eyes dark with desire as he looked down at her. Her heart skipped a beat. He looked like a lion that was about to attack its prey.

She gasped, feeling his erection along her thigh. “Oh my god, Lance,” she murmured.

He bent forward, letting his lips blaze a trail from her ear, moving down her neck. He looked up at her and smiled when she let out a whimper. “Still have that spot, huh?” He asked.

No fair he knew her weak spot. “Mmhmm...Lance.” Her hands moved over the front of his t-shirt, pulling it from the waistband of his pants.

His lips continued their assault on her neck. “Yes, baby?” He murmured into her skin.
“I need you,” she whispered, her hands sliding up the inside of his shirt, running her hands over his smooth chest.

“Fuck, Sam, I need you too,” he muttered against her ear. “You keep touching me like that and we won’t even make it to the room.”
