Finally by Scarlett Metal ~Katie's Review~

3 1/2 - 4 *

Lauren broke off an engagement with her old boyfriend because she caught him cheating on her.  She's finally ready to move on, but work has been keeping her too busy.

Marcus is a player, never settling down with one girl.  No one seems to meet his long list of requirements in a woman.

Marcus and Lauren have worked for the same company for years, but in locations across the country from each other.  They've been flirting for months.  When they are in the same city for a conference, they spend a few passionate days together, both assuming this is just a fling.  Once they each get home though, they realize they want more.  Can they make a long distance relationship work?  And when Lauren's old boyfriend come back to win her affection, can Marcus compete with their history?

I pushed the elevator button. As we stood there waiting, I looked down at her. Her eyes were dark with desire and I movetowards her for a kiss when the elevator dinged and the doors opened.
I walked, practically dragging her in along with me. “What floor?” she asked me.
“Eight,” I murmured, studying her. I had the urge to undo her hair on top of her head and run my fingers through it.
She reached out and pressed the button for the eighth floor. I waited for thedoors to close before I moved swiftly and pinned her against the wall. “I’ve waited a long time for this, Lauren. I’m not going to wait anymore.” I said before kissing her hard. She moaned softly into my mouth and pressed her soft body into me. I circled my hips just a little, rubbing the evidence of my arousal against her leg. My tongue teased hers as her arms snaked up around my neck, leaning against the elevator wall with a hand on each side of her, trapping her.
We continued to kiss as I reached up to release her hair. I’d been dying to touch it from the moment I met her two years ago and nothing was going to stop me now. I buried my fingers in it and pulled her head back so my lips had better access to her neck. They moved over her skin slowly, almost torturing her as they licked, sucked, and bit her sensitive flesh. She let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes. My other hand moved up her bare thigh, sliding underneath her skirt. When I reached the apex of her thighs, I growled softly into her neck. She wasn’t wearing anything under her skirt.
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier you weren’t wearing panties?” I whispered roughly into her ear, my lips on her skin. “I would’ve dragged you out of there much sooner.”
She whimpered and opened her mouth to respond when the elevator dinged again. She was panting against me as the doors opened.
“Come on,” I said as I grabbed her hand and led her down the hall.

Finally is another one of Scarlett's creative novellas.  It is very wonderful quick read.  When it comes to novellas I try and let the blurb give you all the info needed because this is a short story and I don't like to put spoilers in my reviews.  Lauren and Marcus make for an extremely hot couple that has you turning the pages quickly.  That is until Lauren's ex decides to reappear.  In the end will Lauren decide to get back with her ex because she knows what she has with him or will she take the journey to new amazing HOT adventures with Marcus.  Could they make a long distance relationship work?
